How to Use Trail Map on Your Mobile Device

You can download Nomadi application on your mobile device before starting your trip in order to access the Battlegrounds Trail map and site descriptions. The application works on all mobile devices when internet connection is available.

 • Download Nomadi from your application store and find #Ilomantsin sotatie.

Here are some important notes on the use of the map:

You will encounter problems along the road that follows the border zone and at East Point. In these areas, the mobile network may be degraded or even unavailable.

If you have an Android device, you can avoid this by downloading the route on your cell phone or tablet while still within the range of a fast mobile network. You can then access the map in the offline mode because it uses GPS positioning. This function is not available for Apple devices.

Proceed as follows after you have downloaded Nomadi and found the Ilomantsi Battlegrounds Trail website:

•  Click i-button for route to access route information.
•  Click “download” button and wait until downloading is complete.
•  Click “open” to start route.
